| There could be no better preparation for a stellar career in real estate than many years of experience in the corporate side of the business – and that describes Top Producer Jeff James. Jeff’s long career as a Director of Corporate Services for a nationwide company headquartered in Houston gave him insight into what makes a real estate professional succeed. After handling real estate transactions, tenant representation, construction supervision, and contract negotiation on the corporate side, Jeff decided to use his expertise to become a highly successful Top Producer – and he’s never looked back.
When listing a home for sale, Jeff subscribes to total honesty and admits to being brutally frank with his Sellers about pricing and staging the home. To minimize the emotion of selling, “I tell my clients, ‘You have hired me and this is no longer your home, it is a piece of property.’ We then go through the property room by room and I tell them what needs to be done before presenting it to potential buyers.” In addition to the state-of-the-art Coldwell Banker United, Realtors website, Jeff maintains his own website and uses it as an important tool for attracting buyers for his listings and generating business.
A life-long Houstonian, Jeff knows the city’s neighborhoods, even the “pocket neighborhoods” which are often overlooked. “I don’t feel like I am doing a good job if I show my Clients 60-75 homes before finding them the type of home they want. I determine their price range and exactly what they are looking for straight away, and then I narrow the search,” Jeff says. “People are busy and I know how valuable my Clients’ time is.”

I am sensitive to that and strive to keep my Clients informed every step of the way to avoid surprises,” Jeff says.
Representing Buyers and Sellers in Houston, The Woodlands, Kingwood, Pearland, Sugar Land and Katy, Jeff lives in the Galleria area and is knowledgeable of River Oaks, Tanglewood, Memorial, Bellaire, West University, Montrose, The Heights, and the neighborhoods of Willow Meadows, Willowbend, Meyerland, Maplewood, Marilyn Estates, Westbury and Parkwest.
When not working, Jeff enjoys spending time with family and friends, riding his motorcycle, camping, travel, and caring for his 20-year-old macaw parrot, Jake and his rescued Doberman pinscher, Amy.
